Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is hiring for a Human Resources Generalist for a Temporary position in Baltimore, Maryland! This is a full time, in-person, contract position with a company that is growing and expanding into other states. We're looking for someone with strong experience in each of the different HR functions who is willing to jump in and help out the HR team wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Human Resources team with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and compliance
  • Multi-state payroll and timesheets
  • Assist with benefits administration, leave programs, answering questions related to benefits and open enrollment
  • Employee relations, disputes, terminations and investigations
  • Respond to HR inquiries and help with communication of employee requests
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Assist with administrative HRIS updates such as updating employee personnel files and beneficiary/dependent information
  • Special projects related to growth and acquisition of companies, and different entities merging

Qualifications

  • Experience with payroll, onboarding, benefits, and administrative projects related to HR
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred, HRIS system experience is required
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • The ideal candidate should be proficient in office software and possess excellent communication skills

Compensation

  • This is a contract position, paying $27-32/hr with flexibility depending on experience
  • The position is contract, with no guarantee of a permanent position but the company is growing so it likely could evolve into a long-term or permanent position
